This series of hardness testers has three specifications:D. A, W-shaped.

1 D-type: High value hardness tester, with an accurate test area value of30-80 degrees (when type A hardness is above 85 degrees) should be measured using type D.

2 Type A: Conventional hardness tester, with an accurate test area value of30-85 degrees

3 W-type: low value hardness tester, with an accurate test area value of30-85 degrees (when A-type hardness is below 35 degrees) should be measured using W-type.
